Compass Rose is a favorite vacation rental in Pentwater, with many repeat families every year!

Nautical-style cottage privately nestled in the wooded dunes and wild blueberry bushes along Lake Michigan only 1 mile north of Mears State Beach. We are also 1 mile south of Bass Lake and a 20-minute drive to Ludington. The best of all worlds! Relax in the woods or enjoy the towns of Pentwater and Ludington at your leisure.

Tastefully decorated and updated in our trademark blue and white décor, with a fully equipped kitchen, breakfast nook, game table, and open living room with electric fireplace. Wood floors throughout. There is a large screened-in, furnished porch in front and a private sun deck in back.

Compass Rose has 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths–-one with a claw footed bathtub. Main floor bedroom has private bath with king-size bed and private patio. Upstairs bedrooms share a hall bathroom. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other bedroom has a queen and two twins.

Cottage does NOT have a garage available to renters. If you require a garage, please inquire.

We do NOT permit renters to have another part of their group stay the night at a local campground or other accommodation but use Compass Rose during the day.
