Pentwater and the surrounding areas are undeniably beautiful, inspiring outdoor activity and exercise in the fitness-minded.

For healthy movement during your visit, yoga classes are now available on the beach most mornings in the summer and at EnerG Fitness studio on Hancock Street. Nature hiking trails can be found at Charles Mears State Park, public tennis and basketball courts are just north of town, and the Hart-Montague bicycle trail departs from nearby Hart, Michigan.

During the winter there is also an extensive network of cross-country skiing trails through the forests south of Pentwater Lake.
