Pentwater and the surrounding rural communities have been farming communities for generations.  The countryside is dotted with the orchards and fields of hundreds of small family farms and dairies, many going back multiple generations.  This fruitful region is Michigan's own little heartland. 

During the summer months, guests to Pentwater can partake in the bounty of the land.  The Pentwater Farmer's Market takes place on the Village Green (324 S Hancock) on Mondays and Thursdays, from 10am to 2pm, during the months of June through September.

Guests will find delicious, organic meats, poultry, and eggs.  Freshly harvested greens, herbs, fruits and vegetables are abundant, and locally prepared breads, jams, jellies, and desserts will keep you coming back each week! 

Children are of course welcome, and the Pentwater Farmer's Market even helps keep them entertained with face painting and activities at Kid's Korner!  Entertainment for adults include market vendors and cooking presentations by local chefs.

NOTE: New vendors are welcome, but no manufactured or craft items allowed unless they are fully connected with the theme of a farmers' market.

From US 31 South, take the Oceana Drive Exit, and follow into town.

From US 31 North, take the Monroe St Exit and follow into town.

The Village Green is on the west side of the main street (Hancock).
